White Oak Diploma Frame

I made this diploma frame in the Eliot House woodshop during my last semester at college. (Spring 24). The quarter sawn white oak was locally sourced by the woodshop tutors.

Throughout different sessions throughout the semester, the woodshop tutors and I worked together cutting, adding details, joining the cut pieces, and finishing the frame.
The frame was finished with tung oil.

It is a yearly tradition in Eliot House that graduating students can choose to make their diploma frames in the woodshop. I am incredibly grateful to Noah Zavolas and the other woodshop tutors who helped me immensely throughout and made this possible.
